1.5KG Salmon Head & Bones (AUST)
Any type of letover bones can be used for stock ,which is always prefered over H2O in soups, gravies, or sauces.
Very simply, cover the bones with water, add onion,celery,spices & boil it down,strain it & usually reduce it further. Also freezes well if you're not planning to use it right away.
Worried the stock is too fatty? Chilling stock in the refrigerator will allow the congealed fat to be removed from the top of the container of stock with a spoon.
These uncooked bones are more than suitable for doggy treats, but please check with your veterinarian first.
